EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY HENRYK CIRUT 16.06.2018 15:00
Cirut created the triptych ''Geoforms'', ''Hydroforms'', ''Dendroforms'' - a photographic series showing a world seemingly familiar to us, but his deep symbiosis with nature makes him see the world as a unity.
These are different photographs of Warmia than we are used to. They require a calming of the mind, a calm analysis. Without this, we won't see all hidden in the abstract form of the realistic, brutal drama - the violation of the peace of the Earth . That is why these photographs invite us to an encounter. They are an invitation to repeat the journey made by their author. We can do it by looking at his photographs.
HENRYK CIRUT,A graduate of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zamość and the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy. Stucco artist at the Lublin Monuments Conservation Company (including stucco work in the Zamość Town Hall and the Potocki Palace in Radzyń Podlaski).
He started his artistic activity in 2014 with music and visual projects such as: "Music in the image", "Four seasons of independent music - a dialogue with Vivaldi", two concerts with quotations from Vivaldi's music "Four seasons of the year", photographs for the concert" Songs of Warmia" by Feliks Nowowiejski in the St. Jacob's Cathedral Basilica in Olsztyn.
A series of individual photographic exhibitions entitled. "Warmian Triptych" he inaugurated in June 2015 with the exhibition "Geoforms" at the Market Gallery of the Municipal Cultural Centre in Olsztyn. In 2016, he showed 'Hydroforms', in 2017 - 'Dendroforms'.
Between 2015 and 2017, he realised 18 individual photographic exhibitions, including in Olsztyn, Warsaw, Kwidzyn, Ełk, Lidzbark Warmiński, Dobre Miasto, Bisztynek, Lviv and Brussels.
